UKAEG is the organizer of the experiential brand activation pop up structure named “AI Experience” which shall take place at SXSW in Austin, Texas from 11th to 14th March 2023, during which Participants will be allowed under supervision from UKAEG to book appointments to discuss matters pertaining to business advice, and other activities as UKAEG may include at its discretion (“Event”).

Only one digital entrance confirmation e-mail to enter the Event (“Entry”) per Participant for the Event is permitted. UKAEG reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Event in its sole discretion and without notice to the Participant.

UKAEG does not accept responsibility for (i) Participant’s late entry to the Event (an entry will be considered as late if Participant arrives more than 24 hours after the date and time slot confirmed in the Entry); lost or incomplete Entries, or network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of an Entry; (ii) any postponement, delay, or cancellation of the Event by UKAEG.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, UKAEG will not be liable to the Participant (and their guests, where relevant) for any loss, expense, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any Participant resulting from entering or taking part in the Event.

Participants who do not give correct details to receive an Entry, apply for an Entry on someone else’s behalf or apply for more than one Entry per person will be disqualified at UKAEG’s discretion. Entries from agents, third parties, organized group entries, bulk entries or entries automatically generated by a computer will not be accepted. UKAEG has sole discretion to determine whether an Entry is eligible. UKAEG reserves the right to disqualify a Participant where it suspects there has been a breach of these Rules, where a Participant has gained unfair advantage or used fraudulent means or where a Participant might, in the reasonable opinion of UKAEG, bring the UKAEG brand into disrepute.

I agree that UKAEG, its subsidiaries and its subsidiaries), any company or entity to which UKAEG or any of its subsidiaries licenses rights or provides services to, and/or any company which is, in relation to any such company, its parent undertaking or subsidiary UKAEG may photograph and/or film me during my attendance at and/or participation in the Event and related activities (“Recording”) and may use my image, including for promotional, commercial and internal UKAEG and UKAEG business partners purposes. I grant UKAEG and UKAEG business partners the right to use for the maximum time allowed by applicable law, throughout the world and without any compensation or royalty, any Recording or photograph of me in any media, for the purpose of advertising, promotion, or any other commercial purpose in connection with the promotion of the Event or future events, in UKAEG’s and UKAEG business partners’ campaigns and/or for other UKAEG and UKAEG business partners’ promotional activities. I also grant UKAEG and UKAEG business partners permission to display my name, image, Event standings and results during the Event and for the same purposes as any Recording.

These Rules constitute the entire agreement between UKAEG and the Participant and supersedes and extinguishes all previous drafts, agreements, arrangements and understandings between them, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter. These Rules cannot be altered or modified except by UKAEG in accordance with the Rules. Participant agrees that it shall have no remedies in respect of any representation or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in the Rules.

If any provision in these Rules is held, in whole or part, to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the validity of the remaining provisions of these Rules shall not be affected, and they shall continue to be valid and enforceable. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced with a valid provision which is as similar as possible in substance to the invalid or unenforceable provision.

These Rules and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales and any dispute which arises between UKAEG and the Participant shall be referred for resolution before the Courts of England.

DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

For the purposes of these Rules, the data controller is UKAEG referenced above. In taking part in the Event, you will provide UKAEG with certain personal data, such as contact details, personal details associated with the Event and Recordings. You understand and acknowledge that by registering for the Event and ticking the box to state that you agree with this Data Protection Notice, you give consent for UKAEG to process your personal data. UKAEG processes the personal data to administer and execute the Event, as well as to handle follow up matters after the Event. To the extent that you provide to UKAEG any personal data of third parties, such as that of a guest, you acknowledge that you have collected the necessary consent of the third party for UKAEG to process their data.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by serving a notice in writing to UKAEG. If you do this, UKAEG will no longer be able to process your personal data and as a result you will no longer being able to take part in the Event. UKAEG may share your personal data with third parties to process the data on UKAEG’s behalf.

WAIVER POLICY

I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical, health, or personal injury costs relating to my participation in the activities at the Event. I understand that I am strongly encouraged to have a medical physical exam and purchase health insurance prior to my participation for the activities at the Event.

I understand that participation in the Event will entail an element of a risk of injury, illness, damage, loss and expenses associated with participation in the football related games mentioned in the Terms and Conditions above at the Event. By voluntarily choosing to participate in any of the activities at the Event, I hereby agree and undertake to indemnify and hold harmless UKAEG its principals, employees, and representatives against any liability which may arise in connection with the activities at the Event or any violation or offence against any laws, regulations, cultural and moral customs of the UK. I hereby expressly waive and release any claim that I may have against UKAEG for any injury, illness, loss, damage and expense of any kind which arises as a result of my participation in the activities at the Event.

I confirm that I am 21 years old or older, have read the above rules carefully and fully understand its content, and voluntarily agree to its terms.
